In Over The Garden Wall, while Beatrice did technically lie to Greg and Wirt, I don't think she actually knew they would have been in danger of Adelaide when they got to her house. She said she thought she just wanted some gardening done

The show doesn’t really pay attention to The continuity that much but it got a few things accurate but I’d definitely not watch it.

I'm surprised you didn't like the MLP episode where Yona was changing herself for The Amity Ball. I think it was a good representation of how some people will integrate themselves into different cultures and end up losing what was already part of them. It was actually a better version of when Pinkie and Rarity had to save that restaurant and Rarity at first white washed the whole establishment. While they were trying the be more diverse with this dance, they were inadvertently being exclusive what with the posters and trophy only having posters. And Pinkie and Applejack persuaded Yona to make other food and not the tree root stew that they found gross. It was good how The Mane 6 realized that they made the mistake of changing Yona and being exclusive

I like how you made the comparison of The Family Tree Car being a direct reference of The Hatfields and McCoys. Both sets of families were just a bunch of stupid, stubborn people who were too caught up in a nonsense war. None of them were likeable like the old couple who told Lake and Jesse they weren't allowed to talk to the other family and the old people who snitched on each other about how their deaths were embarrassing. The only ones that were likeable were the recent descendants that fell in love and joined the two trees together

This means that they'll get to reunite with people like Pyrrha, Penny, and Summer when it is their time to die

In RWBY, I saw that you believed that in Ozpin and Salem's story that you believed that they're four daughters were the original maidens like other people watching it. I was able to see that they weren't the maidens and were probably inspirations for them as they died as kids during their parents fighting and the maidens were given magic by an old version of Ozpin

In Over The Garden Wall, did you know that in episode 2, Pott's Field which is the village in that episode is based off of a potter's field which is graveyard for unknown and unclaimed people. When you watch it multiple times, you can see that the citizens were never bad and weren't going to do anything bad to the main characters. And its sweet that those people are all together as they probably didn't have anyone when they were alive and now they have each other

Howdy Billy, I just caught most of your video. The subject of cults has always fascinated me. I have a different take on supposed “cults” than most people. I don’t know that any one person, or even any group, is qualified (or even could be qualified) to determine what a cult is. However, I do understand many of the point which are often put forth, such as some of the points in this video. It’s true (obviously) that some behaviors are inherently destructive, and it’s true that some religious organizations exhibit the most destructive behaviors at a higher rate. However, religion, in and of itself, is an enterprise that inherently embraces the supernatural and unusual. I say that, because we cannot, and should not, expect religion to look and behave the same way that secular society looks and behaves. When people believe in extreme things, it can cause what’s often interpreted as extreme behaviors. But we, as a society, cannot allow certain people to infringe on the rights of others. An example of this would be denying someone the right to leave. That is directly infringing on someone’s rights. But if they stay there willingly, that is their right not being infringed. It’s a very grey area, both legally and morally. I will admit that some examples are clear enough to feel certain, as to which side of the line they fall upon. But most lie in that gradient somewhere. One could argue, and argue quite sensibly, that any belief or activity based upon something other than objective reality is cultish. But there are also many cultural shifts in secular society, all through history, which could also be considered cultish. I said all that to say this: I don’t like using the word “cult” at all, and certainly not lightly. I can disagree with someone’s belief of behavior, without resorting to that. When someone is in a group of their own free will, and they are not experiencing truly measurable harm, then I don’t think it’s fair to call it a cult. We must be extremely conservative with a classification like that. Anyways I enjoyed the video buddy, God bless!
